On to Adventure!
Hello all!
In case you missed it, Flat Out! is now on DriveThruRPG! It was a bit of a stressful campaign and printing took way long than expected - but I'm glad it has finally all played out. In the mean time, I have been at a bit of an impasse on what to work on next. I will be expanding Top Line Hockey (next spring, around the 2 year mark), but as we creep closer toward fall (painfully slowly) - I wanted to do some more Fantasy TTRPG content.
As ideas piled up though, it became clear another compendium like Tall Tales of the North Woods wasn't going to be out any time soon, let alone after looking at a calender that looked like an office max puked on it.
The next set of adventures are in they most dangerous "already written in my head" stage. So, I put together a spreadsheet, did some notes, and decided I'm going to try something different.
Ladies and Gentlemen - we are making a Zine!
I have drafts for at least a year, with each edition featuring 1 to 3 adventures and a handful of tables. Written for Cairn mainly, but with some level of flexibility. Hopefully the first one will be in September or October.
Along a related line - I have a simple solo crawl game that has been dying for a release. I plan on putting out the core rules and a dungeons. And add additional dungeons through the Zine.
Now sport fans - you haven't been forgotten! I have 2 hacks that are in the final steps of playtesting for 2 of my favorite games. A competative hack for Fast Drive Football called "Knights of Autumn". And an a total overhaul of Deadball Jr. called "Small Ball". After I'm satisfied that there aren't any game breaking issues, they will be out on the free stuff page.
I want to again take some time to say thank you for all the support over the past few years. This will be the first 2 years in a row that I will be able to keep the website afloat! I've also been able to get some critical software in making this possible, which is incredible - I can't wait to give back!
